Henkel Hosts the Fifth Annual Loctite® Auto Show in Rocky Hill

On Sunday, October 2, the fifth annual Loctite® Auto and Bike Show will be held on the grounds of Henkel’s North American headquarters at One Henkel Way in Rocky Hill, Conn.  From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., hundreds of vintage hotrods, customs, classics, exotics, boats, bikes, imports, and more will be on display.

Henkel will host the car show fundraiser, donating all proceeds to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Trophies will be awarded to winning vehicles, based on popular vote. Henkel is the manufacturer of Dial® soaps, Purex® laundry detergents, and Loctite® adhesives, which are widely used in the automotive industry for vehicle assembly and repairs.

The show will take place in the company’s tiered parking lot, which makes for a perfect showing place for polished chrome, high performance engines, and pristine interiors. The day-long activities also feature live music, food, vendors, kids’ activities provided by Incredible Inflatables, face painting, and a raffle for valuable prizes. The Channel 3 Kids Camp staff will also be on hand to share information about year-round programs and will host kids’ activities throughout the day.

Show cars pay a $10.00 entry fee and spectators pay $5 per car, which will benefit year-round programs and services offered at the Channel 3 Kids Camp. The first 500 vehicles will receive a Henkel gift bag with a variety of the company’s products. Rain date is Sunday, October 2.
