Two Henkel Executives Named to “Who’s Who in Shopper Marketing”

The editors of Shopper Marketing magazine and the In-Store Marketing Institute have selected Henkel Consumer Goods Inc. executives Tracy VanBibber and Melanie Boulden for the “Who’s Who in Shopper Marketing” report for 2010. The complete report, which features 200 outstanding marketers from top brands and retailers, appeared in the September issue of Shopper Marketing

Henkel markets a wide range of consumer brands including Dial® soaps and body washes, Purex® laundry detergents, Renuzit® air fresheners, and Right Guard® antiperspirants.

The “Who’s Who” recipients were honored at a special event prior to the start of the Shopper Marketing Expo held October 6-7 at Navy Pier in Chicago.

Tracy VanBibber is Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Solutions Officer at Henkel.  She joined the company in 2004 and leads Henkel’s home care and personal care customer solutions selling organization in the U.S., which encompasses customer solutions, sales planning, sales strategy, retail and headquarter selling, and Winning in Store.  She was inducted into the Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame in 2009, was named Top Woman in Grocery in 2008 by Progressive Grocer, and has received many other industry awards and recognitions.

Melanie Boulden is Vice President of Marketing, Winning in Store at Henkel.  She joined the company in 2004 as a senior brand manager, and became the first North American marketer from the personal care division to take a global assignment at Henkel’s headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany.  Upon her return to the U.S. in 2007, she was promoted to director of marketing and was responsible for developing the company’s new shopper marketing department.  A year later, she was given the responsibility of creating and leading the Winning in Store organization, which makes “winning at the shelf” a key strategic priority.
