Loctite® Freeze & Release - Application Guide
Simply follow these easy, step-by-step instructions and illustrations to properly apply Loctite® Freeze & Release, Fast Acting Corrosion Release Penetrant:
- Remove dirt and loose rust from parts. A wire brush or compressed air works well.
- Shake can thoroughly. Spray at a distance of about 10 to 15 cm onto the fastener to be treated for 5 to 10 seconds.
Loctite® Freeze & Release shock freezes the parts down to -45F. The shock-freeze effect causes microscopic cracks in the layer of rust.
3. Allow the product to react for 1 to 2 minutes, before attempting to release the seized part.
