Loctite Fixmaster Crack Filler NS Application Assistance
Simply follow these easy, step-by-step instructions and illustrations to properly apply the new Loctite® Fixmaster® Crack Filler NS:
1. Remove all loose aggregate, dust, oil, grease, old caulks, and waxes from the repair surface.
2. Clean the crack with a bristle brush. Blow out dust again to clear the hole of all remaining dust
and debris.
3. Remove plastic cap and plugs from the cartridge. Dispense a small amount of adhesive to
ensure that both black and white materials flow freely and evenly from the cartridge.
4. Attach mixing nozzle to cartridge. Dispense a small amount of adhesive into a waste container.
5. Fill the crack keeping the mix nozzle immersed in the product as the crack is being filled.
6. Trowel the product smooth and in excess of about 1” from both sides of the crack.
Dispensing Equipment
The non-sag high viscosity formula requires a heavy duty dispensing tool be used when dispensing the product. Additionally, while the product can be dispensed without a nozzle, a static tip mixing nozzle will be included and allows for the product to automatically mix through the nozzle and easily dispense as a bubble-free non-sag paste.
