Generally known as instant adhesives, cyanoacrylate adhesives are ideally suited for bonding applications in high-throughput and fast cycle time manufacturing operations. The single-component adhesive formulations cure at room temperature, bond to a wide variety of substrates, and have exceptionally fast cure speeds.

Cyanoacrylates have been widely used in assembly processes for the past 50 years. Applications for these adhesives include bonding various electronics components, such as loudspeaker surrounds, and bonding plastics, metals, and elastomers on disposable medical devices, including catheters and tube sets.

Industry demand called for an adhesive that offered all the advantages of cyanoacrylates and light cure adhesives, yet none of the limitations.
