Henkel Corporation has introduced the first low temperature, solvent and phosphate-free industrial cleaner formulated to remove difficult contaminants from plastic and composite surfaces. By operating effectively at lower temperatures, P3® Polyprep® 110™ cleaner significantly reduces energy consumption and operating costs, and decreases the environmental impact of the manufacturing process.
Henkel’s P3® Polyprep® 110™ cleaner is ideal for spray wash systems that clean parts prior to paint, surface treatment or adhesive application. Effective at temperatures as low as 110ºF, this low energy cleaner operates at 30ºF — lower than industry standard plastic cleaning products requiring bath temperatures of 140ºF or above. Unlike other acidic cleaners, P3® Polyprep® 110™ cleaner is safe on steel tanks and processing equipment.
P3® Polyprep® 110™ cleaner is formulated to clean mineral oil and triglyceride (fatty) oils from a wide range of substrates including primed and raw SMC, polyurethane and polyurea RIM, ABS, TPO, TPE, PVC, and polyethylene. The product is available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 330-gallon totes.
On the Henkel P3® Polyprep® 110™ Web site (http://www.p3polyprep.com), customers can input unique data to quantify potential cost savings and learn more about the advantages of low temperature plastics cleaners.
