Product Development and Customer Satisfaction
Innovative, application-related research and development are key features of Henkel’s business operations. The goal is to develop even more efficient processes and more marketable products.
Product Development
Back in 1957, the optimistic evaluation of future developmental opportunities for adhesives and surface technologies led Henkel to set up a separate department called “Product Development and Applications Technology”. This new unit operated as part of the general research activities implemented for adhesives and surface technologies. Since this time, the scientists in this department and the marketing staff have been responsible for ensuring that adhesives and products for surface treatment meet customer demands as much as possible. Our products reliably carry out their functions and cope with the strains of continuous use.
