Henkel’s Todd Gatzulis Appointed Vice President of Sanitary Supply Wholesaling Board of Directors

Todd Gatzulis, Vice President of Henkel’s Diversified Markets Division (DMD), has been appointed Vice President of the Sanitary Supply Wholesaling Association (SSWA) Board of Directors. As a board member, Gatzulis is involved in continuing to help drive strategic direction for the wholesale association. A main focus of the Board is to generate efficiencies between wholesalers and manufacturers to better serve distributors.

In the second year of his three-year term, Gatzulis was elected as Vice President of the Board and will transition to President in 2010. Each year, the Board rotates presidents with a representative from the wholesaler and manufacturer industries.

“I am honored to be appointed as Vice President of the SSWA Board,” Gatzulis said. “SSWA is a conduit for businesses and wholesalers with a common mission to advance growth and performance in the wholesaling and manufacturing industries. This is my second elected term coming from Director-at-large. We have a great cross-functional group of manufacturers and wholesalers, and I am proud to interact with these individuals to further develop the wholesaler/manufacturer relationships in the Industrial Markets.”

Gatzulis, who has overall responsibility for Henkel’s Diversified Markets Division, promotes the Dial®, Renuzit® and Purex® brands to the away-from-home (i.e. Industrial) markets by generating product placements in locations like hotels, hospitals or restaurants. DMD allows consumers to interact with these well-known brands, which helps generate positive impressions and brand loyalty.

Gatzulis has been with Henkel for 12 years, and began his Henkel career in marketing with increased responsibility in brand management. Gatzulis also has extensive knowledge in industrial sales. By coupling Gatzulis’ industrial sales background with his marketing expertise, he has been able to strategically direct the Henkel DMD business. Gatzulis was also recently named President of the Board of Trustees for the Desert Mountain States Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
